WOYWW #141

So, my work space is a pretty gosh darn mess right now. At least this week it wasn't due to errant zebras or anything like that but a huge undertaking I've been doing. I'm an ebay seller and I have literally boxes and boxes of old magazines to sell, some of which I'm also taking apart for clippings, which is what is on my desk. I've been spending just about all week getting them organized and figuring out what I have. I may have to turn in my crafting badge as I have done not a single Valentine related item this week. Since there is nothing too exciting on my desk--unless of course you consider a pretty big mess exciting, I thought I'd also show you some more of my nearly as equally messy space. In one cupboard, you can see my stamp pads and acrylic paint. Usually it's all standing up, nice and neat, but I've put some things away and haven't bothered neatening it up. In the same cupboard, the white container holds all my Stickles. The glass doored cupboard is where I keep spaghetti and pickles...no, wait...that's in the kitchen. It's actually my stamps and all my flower embellisments. I keep my acrylic stamps in old Stampin' Up boxes, so that's what you see stacked up. In the other cupboard I have various fabrics and my ginormous collection of ribbon. If I laid each piece of ribbon down flat, end to end, I bet it would go around the earth. Or at least to Pittsburgh. I'm hoping that now that my organizational project is dwindling down, things will get fixed up a bit, but I'm not making any promises.

Gosh, you certainly have lots of storage in your room. I think you are far more organised than most of us.
Don't forget to call in and check out my blog candy - it closes late tonight and I should be drawing tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Neet 29

Now I'd like to see the end result if you got your spaghetti and ribbons jumbled up! A spot of mixed media crafting, anyone?? LOL!
Ok, you DO have a lot of stuff, but at least you can easily see where it all is - I like that!

Ooooh look at all that stash, I just fancy a rumage round in that lot, it all looks very interesting, maybe you could lay your ribbons out for me so I can take a walk over on a lovely ribbony carpet, I definately think your ribbon stash could reach to the UK :o) x

Even though there's loads there, you are obviously organised. I've sorted a lot of magazines that I'm going to take to the charity shop - used to sell on ebay but just can't be bothered with it - don't think people want to pay the high postage costs - just not worth it (Hazel, WOYW #138) x

Sometimes I think I need a cupboard, but then I'd make more mess pulling everything out to look for something that's at the back, and make even more mess! I have loads of mags all in 'order', but that's the only thing that is! Have a very Crafty Week,
Happy WOyWw

Loved the peek in all the cupboards, lots of lovely goodies too. You can't create something without mess so don't worry about it, it all evens out in the end..... or you end up buried!!

Spaghetti and pickles! My favorite! Umm... not. Hey, thanks for sharing all your space with us. You have it all jammed full of wonderful things. I understand the organization taking over the creating time, but it will all be worth it when it is done. I should really purge magazines myself... but uh... don't hold your breath.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, Stephanie - yes, there's a learning curve with the Cougar, but I think I'm beginning to see the light now! It will be great once I've got all the techniques under my belt.

Your creative space looks pretty tidy to me!! Maybe the desk is a bit of a mess, but that's a working mess so we'll forgive you that! Love all the intriguing colours in your cupboards.

Looks pretty organized to me!

I cut up my magazines and paste the bits i want to keep (for ideas) in a binder. i have it all divided out into cards themes and layouts divided up into the # of photos needed.
Still, I always seem to have more to cut up...I think they multiply!
